Fortnite has been undergoing one of its best periods in recent memory, as with the new map releasing, theres a ton of content for players to check out.

Once again within the new Chapter, there's some mechanics such as movement that are going to be vital to master within the game.

However, if you've heard the term "Double Movement" and don't know what it is, we're going to run over what exactly players mean when refering to this!

Double Movement Explained

Back in the day, you've probably heard the term double movement from time to time when professional players are talking about their keybinds or what not.

Essentially, what this means is that players are able to have their primary movment binds on PC, along with additional ones that allows their player to move like they're on controller.

Players would set their secondary movment binds for left/right to keys such as V/B and hold them at the same time they're holding A/D.

Doing this bascially inputs the command twice, allowing players to swiftly move back and forth.

If you're looking to use this mechanic, it may be to late, as Epic have removed the functionality of this setting a few seasons ago, as it was deemed an unfair advantage to most players!
